Colour Correctors - Which One Is Right For You?

Colour Correctors can work miracles but how do you know which one is right for you? From greens, to pink and yellows, the bright colours can look a little bit scary at first but they can hide a multitude of blemishes and problem areas.
A general rule of thumb is that colours opposite each other on the colour corrector wheel cancel each other out.
Check out our handy guide to figure out which one you should be going for.

A purple/lavender concealer is fab for brightening sallow areas of skin. Try NYX Concealer Wand in Lavender (£5.50)

Opting for a green colour corrector/concealer will hide any red areas such as blemishes, rashes, rosacea etc. We love Max Factors Colour Corrector Stick in Green (£8.99)

For you beauties that have tanned/olive skin, a yellow colour corrector will be your best friend. Use to hide dark purple circles, or slight redness and brighten the area. NARS Concealer in Pear (£19) is the perfect yellow!

Wave goodbye to dark sun spots and acne with orange concealer especially if you have darker skin. Orange is also a great bet if your dark circles come with a blue tone. Benefit Cosmetics Erase Paste (£20.50) is a Blusho fave!

Dark circles be gone! We did say orange works wonders for dark circles but if your skin is slightly lighter than orange may be too dark. Try a peach tone for a little magic without the intensity of the orange.  Give the Smashbox Photo Finish Colour Correcting Primer in Blend (£25.50) a go!
