Blusho's Top 10 Bridal Beauty Looks And Tips For Your Big Day

Wedding Season is fast approaching, you’ve got the ring, the dress and more importantly the man (or maybe the dress is more important we can’t decide ;P) One thing that we just know you are struggling with is finding the best bridal beauty look for you!

Sometimes having thousands and thousands of bridal makeup inspo at your fingertips makes it even harder, the struggle is real! Fear not bridal bombshells, as Blusho is here to show you our top 10 bridal looks that every blushing bride can pull off.

Which look will you be wowing your man with?

Brit actress and our all round girl crush wowed the nation when she married tv presenter Mark Wright last year in a star studded ceremony looking absolutely flawless! Michelle's look has been many a bride's inspiration since her big day featuring a golden smokey eye and soft pink lip. Want to know the exact products she used? Check out our previous 'Get The Look' blog post for all the deets.

Cara's big sister and gorgeous model Poppy Delevingne was a glowing goddess on her big day to James Cook in 2014 and we were obsessed! Celeb makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury was the brains behind Poppy's glam featuring radiant bronzed skin, golden eyes and soft lips. If only we could all have Charlotte on hand for the big day!

Just wow! The perfect beauty for dark skinned girls, MUA Lauren Nicely (@lonicely) used a pink matte lip (so gorgeous!) paired with soft eyes and glowing skin. Soft, romantic and screams blushing bride!

If natural, soft makeup isn't your thing then who says you can't go all out glam! Tamanna Roashan (@dressyouface) is well known for her glamorous looks and this one tops them all. Gold sparkly eyes smoked out with black shadows in the corners and finished with dramatic Huda Beauty Samantha lashes.

Style queen Olivia Palermo stayed chic and classy with her makeup on her big day. This natural look;  rosy lips, defined brows and a fresh glow is a look that will never go out of fashion.

It's not very often that we see a statement lip on a bride's big day but if a bold lip is your thing then you can't go wrong with a classic red. Makeup artists Heidi Hamoud (@heidimakeupartist) rocks soft golden eyes with a touch of liner before completing her look with a bold red lipstick. Pair with more laid-back natural eyes if you want more focus on the lips.

If there's ever a time perfect time for pink eye makeup then it's your wedding day! Jade Marie (@jadeywadey180) is one of our favourite artists for bridal inspo! This pink smokey eye with a matching pink lip is soft but glam all at the same time. <3

Lashes for days! Perhaps you're getting married in the sun and you don't want to wear a lot of makeup yet you still want to look glam? Then why not focus all attention on your eyes and let your lashes do the talking. A surefire way to glam up your look without being caked in makeup. Teni Panosia (@tenipanosian) applied Ardell Lashes 120 demi style with some individual lashes on top.

Champagne Sparkle. To match all the champagne you'll be drinking on the big day ;) @_beautybyalex has the most gorgeous eye look that is not only natural but still has a hint of colour and sparkle. The perfect all rounder that will go perfectly with that white dress. Find out the products she used and shop the look right here on Blusho.

The thought of wearing eyeliner on your big day might scare you but we don't mean ultra sharp cat eyes! Taking inspo from Kim K, her mua Mario Dedivanovic (@makeupbymario) went super simple with a sweep of golden eyeshadow and the softest flick of eyeliner on her top lids. The rest of her look was natural and radiant. Perfection!

Blusho's Bridal Tips

Don't forget the primer! Your wedding day will be an amazing but long day and you want to make sure that makeup lasts throughout the ceremony, dinner and party so that you look flawless in all those pics! Applying a primer before your makeup will ensure that your makeup stays in place all day long.

Find your perfect lipstick - Don't let the makeup artist apply a lipstick of their own as you won't have it with you later on to top up! We suggest searching for your perfect bridal lipstick in advance of the big day and then you have it with you from morning to night. We're currently loving the NARS Audacious lipstick in Anita (£24)

Waterproof Mascara - There may be tears, happy tears of course! The last thing you want is to have panda eyes when you're crying over your dad's speech! Waterproof mascara is your best friend and will keep you covered. Try Lancome's Hypnose Waterproof Mascara (£23.50)

Signature Style - Don't go for a look that is too different to anything you usually wear. You want to look like you on your big day, which is why many brides opt for a more natural look. Although a soft smokey eye never hurt ;)

  1. Good post. I think that the main thing is not to overdo it with make-up and hairstyle. I had a case when my wife was overdone with this, it was awful. When we were preparing for the wedding, she wanted to do their own makeup. After that I sent her hither http://elstile.com/. I am very glad that did so. She was divinely beautiful.

  2. There is a very small difference between a beauty salon and a cosmetic salon spa. Both offer popular services like hair care, nail care, makeup application, and tanning, Frugal beauty tips

  3. Super gorgeous wedding looks! Thanks dear for sharing these details here. We are also in need of affordable NYC wedding venues for my wedding day. Want to have spring themed venue so would prefer suitable spot. Already hired popular makeup stylist for the day.
