The Best Beauty Looks And Exact Products From The Grammys 2016

Awards season is one of our favourite times of the year! All that celeb beauty is almost too much for us to handle! Last night saw one of the most glam events on Hollywood calendar, the Grammy Awards, and the celebs were out in full force!

From Taylor’s Kanye related acceptance speech to Lady Gaga’s David Bowie tribute it’s all everyone is talking about! However at Blusho HQ, we feel the beauty isn’t getting enough talking time so we’ve decided to dedicate an entire blog post to our favourite looks and give you bombshells some tips on how you can recreate them yourself at home!

1.     Taylor Swift

Debuting a chic new bob and pairing with a gorgeous pink and orange Valentino number, Taylor looked effortlessly gorgeous on the night. What we LOVED is how she colour clashed everything and it so worked!
Taylor rocked a glossy red lipstick on the night, we’ve heard she’s a huge fan of MAC’s Ruby Woo (who isn’t?!) but you could also try NARS Audacious Lipstick in Carmen (£24).

2.     Zendaya

Not just a talented singer but also a talented makeup artist! Believe it or not Zendaya did her very own makeup last night for the awards show and boy does she have talent. Rocking a neutral smokey eye and nude glossy lip, Zendaya used all CoverGirl products featuring some of these below.
To get Zendaya’s gorgeous lip look use – Covergirl’s Colorlicious Oh Sugar! in Caramel ($8.99), Jumbo Gloss Balm Creams in Caramel Cream ($8.99) and Queen Collection Colourlicious Gloss in Premier Pink

3.     Adele

Effortlessly flawless as always! Adele pulls off her signature makeup style perfectly last night with her killer liner, rosy cheeks and a natural lip.
To recreate Adele’s signature cat eye, her makeup artist Michael Ashton told US Magazine that he used Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Liner (£24) along with Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro in #4 (£27) to shape her brows.
Lancôme’s Auda[city] Eyeshadow Palette in Paris was used on her lids with Lancôme’s Grandiose Mascara (£25) to get voluminous lashes.

4.     Alessandra Ambrosio

The colour of the season! We were hoping we would see some blue eyes on the red carpet and Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra didn’t disappoint. Opting for a deep teal smokey eye she was every inch a rock chick!

5.     Chrissy Teigen

Looking as gorgeous as ever and with that added pregnancy glow, Chrissy was a bronzed goddess on the arm of adoring husband John Legend.
To create Chrissy’s warm eyes, celebrity makeup artist Mary Phillips used Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Enhancing Shadow andLiner – Universal Looks Collection in Nude ($11.95).

6.     Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding was the ultimate beach babe last night! Rocking tousled waves and a soft pink makeup look, we think it was one of our favourite looks we’ve seen on her to date!
Her natural pink eyes with a soft pink lip remind us so much of her MAC collection! Try the lipstick ‘Only You’ (£17) from her collection to get a similar look.

7.     Carrie Underwood

Those eyes though! Carrie took smokey eyes to another level with her intense black smokey eyes and dramatic lashes at last night’s award ceremony and we LOVED it!
As the face of American beauty brand Almay, Carrie used their Liquid Lip Balm in Rosy Lipped ($5.99) for her nude lip and we recommend trying Urban Decay’s Naked Smoky Palette (£34.65) to get her dark eyes.

8.     Demi Lovato

We love how embracing natural beauty is now a huge trend and who better to give it a go than bombshell Demi Lovato. Looking absolutely flawless last night, Demi’s barely there look was perfected thanks to makeup artist Jill Powell who revealed a few of the products she used to create the look on the night.
Focusing mainly on the skin Jill used Koh Gen Do’s Aqua Foundation ($62) mixed with Algenist Beauty Oil along with celeb favourite Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Palette (£39) and So Hollywood Illuminator (£28) to create a natural dewy glow.

9.     Ciara

Did you see that dress?! Showing some or a lot of skin was a huge trend on last night’s red carpet! To match her daring look Ciara went for a flawless smokey eye, nude brown lip and glowing skin.

Try Charlotte Tilbury’s K.I.S.S.I.N.G. Lipstick in Hepburn Honey (£23) to get a nude lip just like Ciara’s.
