Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's 10 Makeup Must-Haves

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Model Co

Happy New Year Bombshells!

Are you going to be making any new years resolutions? We’re of course doing the usual, we’re going to eat healthier, go to the gym more (for January at least!) but we’ve also decided on a completely new resolution this year that we are determined not to break!

2016 is the year that we try to be more like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, yes that’s right we know it’s an odd one but hear us out! She is one of the most successful models in the world (of course we can’t grow taller), she has Jason Statham on her arm (signs up to Tinder) she always takes amazing holidays (makes note to work overtime) but most of all her makeup is always FLAWLESS! We know we can definitely achieve that one at least! So we’ve decided 2016 is the year that we try to pull off the looks that Rosie H-W rocks so effortlessly, from natural no-makeup makeup to ultra glam, she can do it all.
Luckily for us, and for you bombshells, we’ve found out some of Rosie’s must-have beauty products to get us started.

Rosie of course has flawless skin so lucky for her she doesn’t need a lot of coverage, which is why she often opts for a tinted moisturizer over a heavy foundation. Hourglass’ Illusion Skin Tint evens out skin tone, softens imperfection all the while leaving you with a gorgeous luminous glow.

2.     Contour – Chanel Lumiere D’Été

Although Rosie has perfectly chiseled cheekbones anyway she still loves to contour like the rest of us! To bronze and contour she uses Chanel’s Lumiere D’Été. Enhanced with a shimmer effect, it is perfect for already golden skin tones, to bronze all over or can also be used as a highlight.

Rosie is all about a healthy, fresh look on a day-to-day basis, which is why she turns to Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip & Cheek Glow for her blush. The cream formula is enriched with hyaluronic acid to moisturize the skin but also has a rosy glow designed to help you look younger and fresh.

4.    Highlight – Charlotte Tilbury WonderGlow (£38.50)

Rosie uses one of Charlotte Tilbury’s cult products, the award winning Wonderglow, in multiple ways. She likes to use the beauty flash primer under her makeup as a base to give her that dewy glow or to highlight certain areas of her face like the cheekbones, cupid’s bow etc.

5.     Concealer – NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (£22)

We’re already half way there with this one because we LOVE Nars’ Radiant Creamy Concealer too! The creamy concealer offers medium to full coverage, is lightweight, blends easily and blurs out any imperfections.

6.     Brows

To fill and define her brows Rosie uses Hourglass’ Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil. The pencil combines powder and wax to create a unique formula and the unique tip gives you ultimate precision for a naturally defined look.

To set her brows Rosie goes for Dior’s Styler Gel, the brush-on gel adds shine to the brows as well as keeping them in place all day long. Available in a clear gel or in a blonde and brown shade.

Rosie swears by Kevin Aucoin’s Eyelash curler to curl her lashes pre mascara and it’s no surprise as it also was the winner in Allure Best Eyelash Curler category. The curler is shaped to suit every eye type comfortably without crimping whilst giving your lashes the maximum curl.

This brush is so dreamy! So easy to apply, your lashes will instantly be volumised, lengthened and defined. Promising up to 24 hour wear, the brush features dual length bristles making sure every lash is accounted for, we love!

Everyone needs a good nude lipstick in their life and it’s no surprise that Rosie chooses one from the iconic Tom Ford range. Not only will the Shine collection leave your lips with a gorgeous pigmented colour but it also moisturizes and conditions lips in the process. Nubile is a gorgeous rosy nude, which is perfect for everyday wear or paired with dark eyes for a glam look.

Finally to set her look, Rosie chooses Guerlain’s iconic Météorites. The different coloured pearls all have their own use, matte, rosy and radiant blue and white pearls, yellow to counter redness, pink for freshness and mauve to catch the light. Sounds like the dream product right?! All pearls combine to give radiance to the face as well as set the makeup. Best of all it smells like violets!
