Get The Look - Michelle Keegan's Bridal Beauty

It was the wedding of the year! Everyone was dying to see what she wore and most importantly for us girls at Blusho HQ, what makeup she was wearing! Possibly one of the hottest women on the planet, Michelle Keegan married reality star and presenter Mark Wright last July in a star studded ceremony looking ultra glamorous as usual. Since then, we just know she has been the main beauty inspiration for lots of you blushing brides to be, but isn’t it hard when you don’t know the exact products that she wore?! Worry no more as we have found out every single thing that she wore on her big day thanks to her wedding makeup artist Krystal Dawn (@krystal_iammakeup), so you can now recreate her look and wow your man at the altar!

Base

Krystal mixed a medium and a dark shade to achieve the perfect match for Michelle’s skin. It's important to take many factors into account when choosing your foundation, many times the shades on offer don't match exactly so it can be worthwhile mixing two to achieve the one that is the perfect match.

Even bombshells like Michelle need a bit of extra help every now and then ;) Bobbi Brown's correctors is ideal for brightening and covering discolouration under the eyes. Great for those of you with dark circles.

This highlighter pen is perfect for blurring out imperfections on the skin as well as providing a luminous look and brightening any dark areas.

Ideal as an under eye setting powder on top of the Bobbi Brown Corrector. The powder will not only set and prolong the wear of your under eye makeup but it will also brighten the area.

Eyes

Gold is so perfect for wedding eye makeup! Laura Mercier's cream shadows are long-lasting, so easy to blend and best of all work perfectly as a base for your normal eyeshadow which is what Krystal has used it for prior to applying Tom Ford.

The ultimate in luxury makeup! This eyeshadow palette is so pretty. Krystal used the gold sparkle shade on top of the Laura Mercier cream shadow to create a gorgeous golden lid.

For the crease, Kiko's Mat Cocoa shade was used and blended.

Bobbi Brown's iconic cream eyeshadow in the shade bone is the perfect shade for a highlighter which is exactly what it was used for on Michelle's brow bone. So gorgeous!

To line the eyes, Bobbi Brown's gel liner in espresso ink was used on the top of the eye along the lashes and with a soft flick before also using on the waterline.

To line Michelle's lower lashes, Kiko's cream crush shadow pot in 06 Pearly Chocolate was used as a soft brown shade.

It's so important to not overdo it with false lashes as you want to keep bridal makeup soft. Ariel Lashes Wispies are perfect for a natural look but with added volume. They are also super lightweight so you won't notice them all day. Amazing!

As with all Estee Lauder Double Wear products, the mascara is long-lasting which is perfect for your wedding day giving you up to 15 hours of wear. The curl effect of the brush will curl and elongate your lashes. Most importantly the mascara won't smudge or flake keeping you covered all day.

Cheeks

Charlotte's legendary bronze and glow palette is so dreamy. Not wanting to go too over the top, Krystal lightly used both the bronze and the highlight shades for a subtle contour and highlight.

To give Michelle that natural, fresh glow, Bobbi Brown's Blush in Nectar was lightly added to her cheeks, a gorgeous pink coral shade.

For some added glow, Urban Decay's Naked Illuminated Powder in Aura was applied to the cheekbones and tear ducts for a champagne shimmer.

Lips

Michelle went for a nude brown lip to compliment her golden smokey eyes. Using Kiko's Lip pencil in 300 Caffe Latte, Krystal used the pencil all over Michelle's lips for long lasting colour. As Caffe Latte is currently unavailable we recommend MAC Cosmetics Subculture (£12.50) for a similar look.

Rather than going for a lipstick, No. 7's BB Lips was applied on top of the lip pencil to nourish lips, give them a glossy finish and a gorgeous nude shade. We love this option as lipsticks can be very drying on the lips when wearing for a long period and it is so easy and quick to apply.

Body

To complete Michelle's look, Krystal applied Iconic London's Gold Dry Oil onto her body and neckline. Currently sold out, we recommend Charlotte Tilbury's Supermodel Body (£45) as a fab alternative to give your body that gorgeous shimmer and healthy glow.
