Blusho Beauty Favourites - June!

Can you believe it is now July? Seriously where is the time going?!
We would normally be sad it’s going so quick but there is so much to look forward to in July!
Not only is it Summer which means sunshine, sea, cocktails, a sun tan (are we rambling?!) We could go on, but we're also so excited about Blusho's first ever competition that is now running! Seriously the prizes are THAT good that we do get a little tear in our eyes at the thought of having to actually give them away! Check out blusho.wishpond.com to be in with a chance of winning!

In other news it’s now time to share our favourite beauty products that we were using last month that we just LOVE!

1.   Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer

We had been looking for a good primer for a while so when we saw Make up for ever had launched not only one but a range of 11 different primers we knew there had to be one in there for us! If in the summer months you suffer with oily skin like us then the mattifying primer is the one for you!
You only need a small amount, which you put on after your moisturizer but before your makeup, and not only does it keep your makeup in place all day but it also gives your skin a matte finish.
We love this product; it is light so you don’t feel like you’re wearing a million layers and does exactly what it should do. It also feels like you’ve had a mini facelift as it makes your skin tight after application, which obviously is amazing!
You can purchase yours now from Debenhams stores or online here

2. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser

Now that the weather has finally perked up and it is hotter, (We're tempted to say too hot but we know I’ll regret it in a few months!) We hate feeling like we're caked in makeup as it feels like it will just melt off our face!
We always opt for a tinted moisturizer or BB cream for everyday use this time of year, as it is more natural, light wearing yet still gives you a hint of colour and coverage.
The NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser is our current go-to base. It comes in 11 different shades which is fab as most brands usually only cover a couple so this is great for matching your sunkissed skin. Not only is the colour great but it also contains SPF 30, is oil-free and promises to reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots in only 4 weeks. Who doesn’t love a multi use product?!

Available here

3. Bioderma Sébium Pore Refiner

This product from Bioderma is in someway similar to the Make Up For Ever primer in that it promises to mattify your skin but it is more of a pore refiner than a primer so we’ve been using both!
The great thing about this product is that it isn’t a product that you just wash off and the work its done washes off too, it keeps working over time intending to reduce the size of your pores in the long run.
The light creamy formula, which smells amazing might we add, leaves your skin feeling silky soft and matte although can be used for any skin type and protects your skin from day to day aggressors.  we use it twice a day and have already noticed a huge difference!

Available here

       4.  MAC Lustre Lipstick in Pure Vanity

Who doesn’t love a nude lipstick?! We’ve lost count of the amount of nudes we have in our makeup collection yet we still keep buying more! This one from MAC’s new collection MAC is Beauty is our new favourite as it has a pretty peachy twist perfect for adding a slight touch of colour but still maintaining it’s nude undertone.
It does come out quite light so might need a few layers depending on how dark you want it but it is also quite moisturizing and soft like all their lustre lipsticks so no matter how many layers it doesn’t dry out your lips.
This is a limited edition though so get it quick!

Available from MAC stores or online here

      5.  MAC Lustre Eyeshadow in Give Me Fire

Another MAC product and another lustre one too! This pink champagne colour is gorgeous with tanned skin and perfect all over the lid if you don’t want anything too heavy but still a little bit of colour and shimmer. As always, being a MAC shadow, it lasts long and similar to the lipstick can be built up for a more intense shade.

Available from MAC stores.
